Today I take on the role of CEO of Greinfort with enormous pride and responsibility, and I want to share with you what this means and where we are heading.
I would like to start as one should, at the beginning, because without it none of this would exist. Over these years, Greinfort has been possible thanks to Iago Fortes’s firm commitment. Founder and, until today, CEO, Iago believed in this project when it was little more than an intuition born from the real needs of industry. Today he steps aside, and I want to be clear about what that means: it is not a step back, but a step towards backing the project even more strongly. His decision to professionalise Greinfort and consolidate it as a vendor in its own right, rather than as just another member of the Inprosec group, is an act of confidence and ambition. Thank you, Iago, for laying the foundations and for having the generosity to propel us towards what lies ahead.
Eight years of development stand behind us. Eight years refining every feature, learning from every plant, every network, every customer. But it is the last twelve months that have driven us, exceptionally, to where we are today. That is why I especially want to recognise the team that is with me today, as they have laid the groundwork for everything that is to come.
Because what is coming is what truly excites me. Our vision is clear: we believe that OT cybersecurity does not have to be complicated and should not be reserved for a few. For years, the industrial sector has been told that protecting itself requires complex solutions and huge investments. We think differently. Simple does not have to mean lower quality; on the contrary, it is what makes security genuinely reach those who need it. And today, with indiscriminate attacks on every kind of infrastructure, we all need it.
We stand alongside those who keep industry running: the security manager who needs clear, defensible answers, and the plant manager who cannot afford downtime. For them, visibility over what is happening on their network should not be a technical luxury, but the foundation of their business continuity. We do this with European technology, with real sovereignty over both data and product, at a time when that matters more than ever, and with a solution that deploys with no impact on production and provides visibility in hours, not months.
But we will not get there alone, nor do we want to. We are growing hand in hand with a strong partner channel: the integrators, MSSPs and service providers who know their customers inside out and who, with Greinfort, have complemented their service offering in an excellent way. They are the ones who bring our technology to every plant, and our role is to make it easy for them: a platform that is simple to deploy, operate and scale. Their success is our success.
That is why I am so confident about what lies ahead: we don’t want to be the biggest product, but the most useful one. Because we observe, understand and protect. Because we speak the language of operations, not just that of technology.
To those of you who are already part of this team: thank you for bringing us this far. To those yet to join: a project with purpose awaits you, and a future we are going to build together.
